Viatera is the quartz line of LX Hausys, the Korean surfaces company, and the slabs sold in the US are made in the US: LX Hausys runs three Viatera quartz plants in Adairsville, Georgia. For a client who wants a domestic product without narrowing the colour choice, that is a useful combination.
The Viatera display in our showroom is headed “Elevate every space”, and the range lives up to it — from quiet solid whites to dramatic, heavily veined slabs such as Intermezzo, a gold and brown pattern on a cream ground that you can see on our stand.

LX Hausys keeps developing the line. Its NEOQ collection is made with less than 1% crystalline silica, and its TrueView technology is designed to make veining and pattern read more like natural stone across the slab. Ask us which colours fall under each — not every Viatera colour is NEOQ.
What every Viatera colour shares is the everyday behaviour of engineered quartz: a non-porous surface that needs no sealing, resists staining from wine, coffee and oil, and cleans with warm water and a mild soap.

Does Viatera need sealing?
No. Like all engineered quartz it is non-porous, so it needs no sealing and does not absorb spills. Use a trivet for hot cookware.

Is Viatera good for a busy family kitchen?
Yes. A non-porous quartz shrugs off the wine, coffee, oil and citrus a working kitchen sees, and a mid-tone or veined colour hides everyday crumbs better than a solid white.
