Natural oak, with teal where the eye lands
The cabinetry in this Coto de Caza kitchen is natural oak in a shaker door,
left light so the grain shows, and almost every run carries long brass bar
pulls. Colour is used in three places only: the wall cabinets and hood above
the cooktop, the floating shelves beside the window, and the base of the
island. All three are the same deep teal, so the room reads as one decision
rather than a collection of accents, and the oak around them stays calm.
The cooking wall puts stainless double wall ovens in a tall oak cabinet beside
the cooktop, with a pot filler on the backsplash above it. Glass-front teal
cabinets on either side of the hood are lit from inside.
