A cabinet maker that starts with raw lumber
Omega tells its own story plainly: the company began in a barn in Washburn, Iowa, more than thirty years ago, and it still starts every cabinet from raw lumber in its own rough mill. Omega says it uses hand-selected woods, top-of-the-line hardware and hand-applied finishing techniques, and it is now part of the MasterBrand Cabinets family — the same family as Homecrest and KitchenCraft.
It is the top of our cabinet range. Omega covers semi-custom cabinetry through to what it calls a true custom cabinet experience, which is where you go when a room has an awkward dimension, a ceiling height the catalogue does not reach, or a detail no stock line makes.
Framed, Full Access or inset
Omega builds on two platforms and shares most of its door styles between them. Framed cabinetry has a face frame around each box — Omega describes it as the more traditional build, from sleek and minimal to highly detailed. Full Access, also called frameless, drops the frame so the doors cover the whole box and the interior opens edge to edge, which suits a modern kitchen. Omega also makes inset doors, set flush inside the frame.
The choice changes how a kitchen looks and how much fits inside it, so we make it with you in the showroom, against real doors, before anything is drawn up. Omega applies the same thinking beyond the kitchen: vanities, laundry rooms, offices and built-ins can all be matched to one finish.

Omega's range of door styles, woods and painted finishes is wide enough that choosing from a screen is guesswork. At our Anaheim showroom you can open the doors, feel the finishes and put a door beside a countertop sample before deciding. How does Omega compare with Homecrest or KitchenCraft?
All three are MasterBrand lines. Omega is the top of our range and goes all the way to custom; KitchenCraft spans stock to custom with European styling; Homecrest is the value line. A designer will narrow it for your room in one showroom visit.

Yes. Omega door styles and finishes are on display at our Anaheim showroom, open Mon–Sat 10am–5pm · Sunday closed. Bring a photo of your kitchen and we will pull the doors that suit it.
